Michael E. Luttrell founded what would become Warm Floors™ in 1977. He had a curious mind, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a lifelong interest in how things worked and how they could be improved.
Michael was always exploring new ideas and was rarely content with the familiar path. He did not shy away from difficult problems, unconventional thinking, or new challenges. He also cared deeply about people—their comfort, their dignity, and the way they were treated—and that concern helped shape the company he built.
For nearly five decades, Michael continued to question, experiment, and refine the way hydronic radiant systems were designed and built.
Today, Warm Floors™ carries that legacy forward by preserving the knowledge, curiosity, and care he brought to the company while continuing to grow, modernize, and take on new challenges.

Warm Floors™ has been designing, installing, and servicing hydronic radiant systems throughout California for nearly five decades.
What began as Michael Luttrell’s vision has grown into a team of designers, technicians, and operations professionals with deep experience in radiant heating and cooling. That experience guides every project—from design and installation through commissioning, service, and long-term support.
As we enter our next chapter, we are investing in our people, technology, design standards, and service capabilities while preserving the hands-on approach and attention to detail that have defined Warm Floors™ since 1977.
